The production of Police Records continues to be an ever-growing demand from individuals residing both locally and abroad. This is as a result of an increase in the number of persons who are required to demonstrate a history of conflict with the law, primarily for employment and migration purposes. The Criminal Records Office (CRO) is responsible for the management of Police records, management of Police Records. This includes inter alia; the collection, storage, and processing of specific court records, management of the country’s criminal records and related databases, as well as the dissemination of Police Records.
In order to adequately meet this demand, the systems and processes of the CRO have been transformed to better serve the needs and expectations of its customers. This Policy and Standard Operating Procedure for the Production of Police Records represents the JCFs commitment to offer high-quality service to all stakeholders of the CRO.
Conviction Report
A document issued to an applicant which outlines details of offenses for which he/she was convicted.
Police Certificate
Document issued to an applicant who has had no recorded criminal conviction.
